Henry the Juggler Plays with Fire!!!
July 13, 2007
Henry the Juggler stopped by to help us celebrate our summer reading program. He may not speak but the kids sure listened (adults and teens listened, too!!) Henry had their undivided attention and even taught some juggling after his show was over. We had heard that he was armed (and legged) and dangerous (juggles fire) but we didn’t know he’d be so funny, too! Thanks for stopping by Henry.

Norma Chang Stirs Up Some Fun!!
February 1, 2007
Norma Chang, The Travelling Gourmet, stopped by and wowed us again! She showed us how we can stir fry without using oil. Norma was also chock full of other cooking tips and advice for making our lives easier. Patrons were invited to have ample samples of the two dishes she created; Chicken & Asparagus Stir Fry and Hoisin Chicken with 3 Peppers. Her quick wit and personality had everyone wanting more. Several patrons asked if she would be coming back next month. They loved her! Norma hopefully will be comingĀ back to our library this summer. Keep checking our calendar!
